How to Read Race Results
The Results page shows what happened in a session. A session is a block of on-track time, like practice, qualifying, Sprint, or the race. Here is what each part of the results page means.
Position and status
Every rider gets a position, from 1st to last. Some riders will not have a normal position; instead, you will see a status code. DNF means Did Not Finish, DNS means Did Not Start, DSQ means Disqualified, and NC means Not Classified.
Gap and time
The gap shows how far behind the race leader a rider finished, in seconds. The rider in first shows their actual finishing time because there is no rider ahead. In practice and qualifying, the table shows each rider's best lap instead of a race gap.
Sector times
Every track is split into four timed sections called sectors, labelled S1 through S4. Open the Analysis tab to see each rider's best time in every sector and identify where one rider is faster than another.
The six tabs
Result is the official finishing order. Analysis adds sector times and top speeds. By Rider, By Team, and By Constructor group the same session data in different ways. Charts plot lap times and gaps as a graph, and each chart or table has a menu for sharing or exporting.
